Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Govt. of India., Bangalore, conferred the ADE-ASIEO Creative Partnership Award on Pegasus for its technical contribution towards the development of Nishant, India's unmanned air-vehicle.

The GIS centric solution was developed under the real-time OS iRMX on custom hardware supporting Matrox graphics accelerator. A paper on real-time GIS developed for Nishant GCS was presented by ADE scientists and Pegasus in GEOMATICS 96, Ahmedabad.
